Before ordering Diafine in the states, I have still 2 questions about diafine:
1.
What is the lifetime of the disolved developer?
2.
What is the capacity (nbr. of 35mm/36 films per quarter)?

Hi Wim,
1) I've had my batch for more than 1 year with no apparent loss of qualities, even though I decided to use a new one after some strange results which ended being due to reel loading problems.
2) If you mean number of rolls you can develope, in my case it has been unlimited, all my rolls shot during that year were perfectly developed.

1) As long as you want it to be, plus one day
2) It's reusable again and again. The A solution loses volume, but fairly slowly.
The main problem is if you do something dumb like pour the B solution back into the A bottle.
Who? Me? No. Whatever gave you that idea?

Snort. Mark, I am really glad to know that more than I did that one. Longest blue streak I've let loose since my son got here... glad he was asleep upstairs at the time. :bang: :bang: :bang:
To answer the OP,
1) I was over a year on that gallon, maybe 200 - 300 ML of the A had been used up.
2) I don't think you can shoot enough in a year to make any difference to this stuff.
William

1. A LOOOOOONG time. I have heard over three years with no problems but the longest I have normally kept a batch is about two years.
2. LOTS. Hundreds of rolls.
Tom
PS: After a year or two it looks like a science experiment gone terribly wrong.... but it works just fine. Just close your eyes when you pour and ignore the clumps.

Huron Camera offers Diafine for 16.50 USD.
Is this the 1 gallon package?
Their doc. on the web is not clear about that.
I asked clarification via Email, but no answer.

Yes, that is the one gallon kit. It makes a gallon of Solution A and a gallon of Solution B.
