Diafine for paper developing

I wonder if it could be reasonably feasible and economical to consider a B&W paper developer that work in the same way of Diafine, allowing and endless souping reuse during darkroom paper printing.
I think that in period of concern for the enviroment it would be great.

This is a response to an old post, but if anyone should come across this looking for the same information give Ethol LPD a try. Very economical, great life and unique developing qualities: dilution varies tone rather than contrast.

don't know whats in diafine and no developer will have endless capacity but Ansco 130 has very high capacity and doesn't go off between printing sessions. i.e. very long tray life. It is very highly prised by many printers for the slightly warm colour its gives and many papers response to it. Not as contrasty as todays multigrade developers but if your neg development is calibrated to Ansco 130 on your usual paper then that is really not an issue.
