That would be me.. glad you like it 😀! Good results BTW. Be sure to buy some reserve batteries (find a place online where you can buy them cheap and buy 10 or something 🙂).

I'm in the 1% that love it. It's more of a digital Lomo than a Holga, brighter colors and strange color shifts, not really soft unless you shoot things in macro mode that aren't really close. The framing is really off somehow and it's not really fast enough for quick street grabs but if you open yourself up to accidents or non moving objects it's fun. Also the video mode is great. Never been tempted to shoot video before.
It's the 2+ which has I guess a better menu system that allows you to go to black and white and turn the sound for video on or off without some secret combination of buttons that the older ones required.
I've got some rechargeables on the way from Deal Extreme. I actually don't find it uses too much in the way of batteries because being a film shooter, I'm pretty conservative but I've shot some video and reviewed things a bunch and it still has full batteries after a week or two.
It's the camera I grab when I wouldn't otherwise take a camera. Its the first digital I've had that I really like the results. They don't look plasticy. Sometimes soft, sometimes grainy but not that overly smooth icky digital look. Looks a bit like cross processed film.

Those pics have a fantastic "110" cartridge-film feel to them. i may have to pick one up at some point.

Here's a couple shots I took with mine. I have the 2++ Version.
I really should use it more often. It's great for taking candid street photos because most people have no idea that it's a camera so they don't even notice.
