ywenz: Thanks for posting that link, and I agree that the camera isn't as important as the photographer. There's a Magnum photographer who does great work with Olympus C5060 and C8080 (can't remember his name), he basically sets them up like RFs. A friend of mine exploits an Olympus C2100 UZi, with its measly 2.1MP tiny sensor, to great effect. (In that case particularly, it proves that good glass in front is as important as the sensor.) And while Sam Javanrouh, over on
Daily Dose of Imagery uses a Canon Rebel XT, his work is really, really good. He occasionally posts some film shots or shots from an A95 and guess what? They are as strong as his digi shots, and vice versa.
This Toronto skyline shot blows me away. But I still want to see it done on an M8!
