and they need some sizes
Is anyone here who can send me some sizes???
(please E-mail me kyh2811@naver.com)
I tried some holder like thing into the scanner but didnt recognized
the size should be precise I think

Hello i have a same problem - excelent scanner without films holder. I wrote to official site, but they "penality" me ... Do you resolved you problem with size film holder.
Thanks ... i hope we have another chance :)

I have one. There are three film holders. one for 35mm negs, one for mounted 35mm slides and one for medium format film. they are all the same size. The dimensions are 4 5/8 inches wide (11.7 cm), 11 inches long and 5/8 inches deep. the problem you may have with making one is that there is a series of slots on the side that are used by the scanner to pull in and push out the film holder. It may need those in order to recognize that a holder is in place.

Thanks for answer, I am afraid that is not enough data to make a drawing and then printed on a 3D printer. I am ready draw them in Autocad for all and upload for printing. Unfortunately I lost the hope to buy a frame for this the scanner.

This is an interesting discussion. I also have Konica Minolta scanner (Dimage Scan Elite 5400) which lacks a slide holder (SH-M10). Since it seems nearly impossible to find, I've been thinking of 3D scanning and printing one.

Unfortunately I haven't found anybody who has one spare to scan or measure.

New holders for the 5400 scanner were available from Runtime in Bremen at the end of 2014 at a cost of 50 euros. As my purchase was part of a scanner repair order,I do not know what the shipping cost would be for the holder on its own.

They could conceivably still have these holders and the holders for the Scan Multi
If you are interested in finding out if they are still available I suggest you e-mail :

Thanks for the advice. I tried asking there february 2015 but they were no longer available.
I also tried to buy a replacement CCFL lamp for this 5400, with no success.
Sure, I know it's off-topic, but I could really use a bit of help finding one those also. Any suggestions?

A few replacement lamps were sold on ebay last summer. Got one while it lasted. For 16 euros... Check there from time to time or create an alert. That's what I did. I also learned that the lamps were supposedly the same ones than those of the Dual Scan II, III, and IV so if you can't find one, you can still get a cheap scanner and transplant the working bulb in your 5400.
