Displaying website link in signature

Not sure if this is an appropriate place to post his but I am having diffilculty including my website link in my signnature I have typed the web address and a couple of times it came up as an active link but most times not

I am sure there is a simple solution and would appreciate some advice

use the link icon in the editor.

Have you looked at the Quick Link option at the top of the page? You should be able to edit your signature to add the hyperlink.

Go back to where you do your signature and click on the 'Link' icon above the window where you type. It's a globe with a chain link superimposed.

In the mini window type or paste your link and click on 'OK'.

Now you can see the link which will work just fine, the name of the link is highlighted in light blue. You can leave it as it is and so have http:www.website.com in your signature, or you can delete this highlighted bit and substitute a new name such as My Website.

There's a preview function so you can check for errors before you save it.

Yes, it works, but it looks a bit odd with the www running straight into the idububeimages with no "." in between.

Peter's link works for me, but it takes about three seconds to get to his site.

Jon, I tried it several times using both IE6 and Firefox, and could not connect. I can connect to your link with no trouble.

Odd indeed, I can see Peter's zebra using Mac with Safari.

Odd indeed I am having trouble getting to my website directly and through the link - seems to work intermittenly

I'll have to keep checking

OK, I think I got it:

IdubeImages is on a server run by SmugMug which is slow as treacle.

The signature works fine (although he could rename it like I did above) but his server is very slow.
