Hello, I have purchased a Petri CC 1.9 and have noticed when trying to ficus that the the patch seems to line up short of the actual distance of the subject. Seems I need to adjust this. Does anyone know how this is accomplished?

Hello and welcome to the forum WHYNOT35.
Do you mean the patch doesn't line up when the lens has been turned all the way to infinity and cannot be turned any further?
Or do you mean you've measured the distance (let's say 12 feet or 4 metres in this example) and turned the focusing ring to that distance and the patch doesn't line up?
From what I've read on this forum, the marked distances on cameras/lenses aren't really all that accurate, though you'd think the Infinity mark, past which marked distance the lens cannot be turned, would be fairly accurate. A number my lenses and cameras can focus closer than the nearest marked distance. Why I don't know.
Hopefully someone will come along who can help.

When the patch lines up on the subject, is the result in focus?
