Too darn many!!!

30 +

From a 1934 I to a 2013 S2

i was addicted but after going to rehab I'm better now and haven't added to the collection in over a year!

🙂

Bought a M6TTL, sold it after a year, too beautiful and precious to use it.
Bought a used and worn out M6, sold it after some time, too many problems with light leaks.
Promised myself I wouldn't buy another Leica.
Day after, I bought another M6, in like-new conditions, and I'm still using it, with a 50mm Summicron and a 40mm Nokton.

I know I voted awhile ago but am not sure I wrote anything. I bought my first Leica (CL) in 1975 and have owned just about all of them except the MP and M7. I just got another M2, this one from 1958 which is a clone of my 1959 M2. Except it is even prettier and has been serviced by Sherry. I also have an M9 and R6.2. Guess I am blessed or dammed depending on one's point of view.

I originally voted no but that changed last week. I've owned many range finder cameras, some of them were even Barnack clones, but I just didn't get along with the dim or flaring view they provided. After years of telling myself that serious photographers used SLR's or view cameras, I finally gave in and now own a nice M3 double stroke and I've an Elmar 50mm f2.8 (old) on the way. I still can't get over how bright the viewfinder is.

Four Leica's.
One black M6 that I bought new in 1986 with a slightly used 35 Cron V4. My local pusher back then in Denmark showed it to me one day I came into the store and I left with the camera. It has never been serviced and still work like the day I took it home.
The other 3 is two IIIF one with and one without self timer and a very nice black Standard with the 3.5 Elmar, all Nickel and working very well after Youxin Ye serviced the camera a couple of years ago.

I never thought I was going to get a digital Leica but the new M246 have me dreaming both day and night. Will need to sell off some less used gear before that will happen but unless user reports turns out to be less favorable than what the initial few test have shown, I think that will be my next Leica.

My first camera coming back into film photography (2 years ago) Was a Leica... An M4-P with a 50cron & then switching it out to 35asph. Loved it but couldn't justify investing so much for 35mm format.. sold it last year or so.. but just a week ago I picked up the Leica CM. Less expensive and fun in it's own way 🙂

I just acquired my second one. (Hopefully this isn't a trend starting to form.) Got a pretty decent user M2 and had it serviced by Youxin, it's got some small dings and scuffs but nothing too terrible, but it is super smooth in operation and I'm going to enjoy shooting it alongside my M240.

My Leica M evolution over 30+ years. Some configurations lasted decades, others lasted months:

M4
M4-P
M4-P + M7
M4-P + M3
M4-P + M4-P
M4-P + M4-P + M3
M9 + M3
M9 + M3 + M6 classic (these I currently own)

Raid,

Currently I own 5 Leicas: four are film bodies; one is a Monochrom.
