Do you ever draw a picture and then go out and try to find the shot you drew?

No...I first picked up a camera in part because I am hopeless at drawing. I guess that means I personally photograph often because I can't draw it first😀

Nope. I do not. I shoot whatever comes to mind, it is funner for me that way.

Cinemaphotographers work this way all the time in the film and TV industry. "Storyboarding" each shot is critical when employing a crew so that everyone is on the same page and has an idea what each shot should look like.
