No...I first picked up a camera in part because I am hopeless at drawing. I guess that means I personally photograph often because I can't draw it first

Cinemaphotographers work this way all the time in the film and TV industry. "Storyboarding" each shot is critical when employing a crew so that everyone is on the same page and has an idea what each shot should look like.
