Does Anybody Really Care What Time It Is? Leica Sells Watches

The Leica watches are nicely built and spec'ed, but somewhat unremarkable. They are in the middle-low end of the field, price wise.

I love good timepieces, have a particular thing for Longines and some older Omega watches. I have a couple of each. What I'd like to obtain at some point is the Omega Speed Master Professional "Moon Watch" ... the one certified by NASA for all Apollo missions. They're still making it, and it's not hideously expensive. But it's pricier than I want to afford right off the bat, so I'm waiting to see if a nice one surfaces.

Like most of our cameras and lenses, a fine watch is a luxury purchase (to me, anyway). So regardless what they might cost, if you want one and can afford it, have a ball. If you don't want one, eh? Why disparage someone else's pleasure?

@Godfrey, if you are looking for an Omega pre-owned, check out seller “Kringkily” aka George Hsu.

He is very reputable and had a good selling record on Omega Forums and Rolex Forums - Rolex Watch Forum. Lots of positive reviews and anecdotal sales stories from happy customers.

I bought my Omega Speedmaster 3570.50 and Omega Seamaster 2254.50 from him in 2014.

Not sure if he is still actively selling however.
