Does anyone ALWAYS has a camera with them?

I carry a camera always.

Mostly Zeiss Ikon w 35/1.2, whatta combo!!. Otherwise Rollei TLR or Nikon FM or F3.
I usually have a CanonS90 in my back pocket for grab shots. I haven't damaged it in 12 months of sitting on it. Most of my travel blog is the S90 imnotfromkaunas dot blogspot

cheers

For the last 18 months, I have tried to have a camera with me everywhere I go. This has been easily achievable, with a small camera bag and single body/ lens M-combo.

For a while now though, I have felt having a camera always with me (and thus a pressure to shoot it) has prevented me from really connecting with the environment in which I shoot. A balance is needed, but I'm not sure what it is yet.

Yes, 99%... An old FSU camera. Fed2 with a Jupiter3 (50mm)... Quite heavy but now I know that when my bag is too light I am forgetting something...

I have found that I do better participating in and enjoying all of the fine nuances that life brings rather than trying to photograph them. While I most often have a camera in the car, there are many times I do not bring it out.

Overall, I believe my photographs benefit from my approach. Of course, YMMV.

I nearly always have a Nikon D200 with me. Usually it's the 35/1.8 mounted, other fav is a 18/3.5 but it's a big bulky. I drive to work now and it's dark with winter coming on, but I have a superstitious dread I'll miss something if I don't have it with me.

Yes, allways.
A Canon A 580 in a magazine holder in my waistbelt, and another 35RF in my backpack or briefcase.
The 35RF can be either a Ricoh 500G, a Yashica E35 GSN, a Minolta Himatic 7s, or a Contax II.
BTW, apart of carrying any of them I usually take pictures with them.
Cheers

I didn't have a camera in the car when we went to church this morning. Felt a bit naked.
I am not in GAS mode right now, but I'm thinking I might get a much smaller/flatter film point and shoot that I always could have on my person.

Pretty much all the time- tho today I was cutting firewood and didn't bring a camera. If I leave by car (I live in the middle of nowhere so that means any errand or job) always.

It may just be stuff like this, but like the exercise.

Id say I do all the time, except when I go indoor climbing as the chalk isnt great and I leave my kit bag by the lockers unattended.

Apart from that I always carry my Hadley pro with an m4-p and m8 with 35 and 50 noktons. even take them to work (though I do work in a photo shop)

Occasionally take my Nikon D1h and nikonos iva, especially when its raining

Mostly yes, but certainly not always - there are things I want to enjoy all by themselves, unencumbered by any other activity...

There are plenty of times I don't shoot- I've never been one to shoot anything if I have a camera. Was watching my daughter at the end of her gymnastics class the other day (the above image is from that day) and didn't shoot- just enjoyed spectating.

Yes I know its like saying bad words at church time, but I do always have my Iphone 4 whit me and its a solid little camera on it..

I do have on trips whit me at least 2 cameras, one DSLR/or 4/3 and a compact..

I always carry a camera with me, ok ... nearly always.
Usually a Leica M, sometimes Contax G2 or Leica R (at the moment an R6.2), sometimes even a Rolleiflex or Hasselblad.

iphone. Most of the time I'm at work. So I really can't carry a camera when my job does not require me to have one.

I wouldn't say I am carrying all of the time but when I leave for work in the morning I grab a camera...it sits by me at work...sometimes I'll take it to lunch or on break...then I take it back home. I've been known to carry a canonet into a bar or restaurant a time or two and I always keep a point in shoot in my car underneath the driver's front seat.

Always, even if I don't always use it. Normally I carry an M4 or M6, recently I have been carrying a Lumix LX5 (it says "Leica" on the lens). As I said, I don't always use the camera when I carry it, but on those rare occasions when I was't carrying a camera there were moments when i wished I had one.
