That baby binky (pacifier) is a rather disturbing punctuation mark to this wonderful image. Really nice work on everything in this series, Chris.
I like everything about this picture ... the tonal range, the grain, the framing. The saw marks on the wood floor and the dust and dirt.... The express on "Betty" (the slapper) and the closed eyes on "Ruth" (the slappee) seal the deal on this for me. Wonderful mise en scene.
This could be an image for a new Calvin Klein fragrance ad campaign. "Perdition, available at Macy*s, Bloomingdales and other fine retailers."
