:bang: Saw one on a website, causes massive GAS attack. Is the camera a LTM? And if I'm correct, it only has the rapid winder (not wind lever), right?

It also says the shutter release is on the front of the body, below the self timer, but the photo appears to belie that--- looks like it's above it to me.

Rangefinder camera pedant
After our last DRUG-related discussion, I was looking at a couple of them on eBay stores (tempted to buy one but decided to hold off.)
From the pictures on the sites, it looked as if the shutter release IS on the front, above the self-timer release. The only protrusions on the top are the FED-style shutter release dial and the film reminder dial.
Here's a picture.
Come on, SOMEBODY has to buy one of these so we can complete our knowledge!

Cameras are like bunnies
Have you seen the position of the rangefinder/viewfinder? It's in the middle of the camera, above the lens. Like on an SLR. I don't think I will like those ergonomics after getting used to cameras that don't have conflicts with my nose. I don't want to spent money just to try it and not like it.

I had one of these and foolishly sold it a few years back, yes the shutter release is on the front,and its very smooth. The little lever on the opposite side to the self timer is the rewind release. It also has frames in the V/F for 50 and 85 lenses, but not coupled for parallax. Easy to load. Trigger can become very stiff if not lubed! a fairly easy job. Rewind knob is retractible on the bottom of the camera. Sadly they are usually well worn and over 40yrs old now. Its difficult to find a nice one. Still kicking myself. :bang:

I find the story that it was made for people with one hand a bit strange, unless they all lost the same hand, they would have made a right and left handed version.!! 😀
