Drunken Diary Japan Vol.1 - Kyoto (酔っぱらい日記 Vol 1 - 京都)

I'm having my next solo show in Kyoto, Japan. To those of you based/traveling in Japan, I'd love to meet ya! (May 19-27th)
I'll be arriving on May 11th and shooting, developing, printing and assembling the zines/exhibition the week leading up until the opening party.

Graham Meyer is a photographer currently residing in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2013 he self published a photo zine titled “MAO MAK MAG ["Very Drunk" (in Thai)] a 40 page drunken Diary filled with snapshots and wasted memories from Bangkok, the land of angels and terrible hangovers. Since then 2 other zines have followed in the series embodying 3 years of (mostly) after hours photographs, late night escapades, and absurd situations among friends and strangers in bars, homes, and around the streets.

This new project is a continuation of the series in a completely new and unfamiliar environment, Kyoto. He will be staying in the city for 3 weeks and the first week will be solely dedicated to documenting his experiences, aimless wandering, and inebriated adventures. The images will be quickly curated and assembled into a new publication to be launched and viewed at Momurag Gallery.

A writeup about my last exhibition in BKK

Updated the information and added a better translation to Japanese.

Speaking of which, does anyone know of any other art event listing websites besides Kansai Art Beat? It seems there aren't many resources in terms of art and exhibition listings for the Kyoto area. Tokyo is overflowing! So it seems like such a huge contrast to come up with nearly empty search results.

That's one hell of a picture..would luv to see the rest of them..

Thanks! If you click the write-up link you can see a whole bunch from my last show. This one will be very similar, except with entirely new images of course!
In the last show, I printed over 600 images. I actually broke the printer at the shop from feeding so much through it. (Thankfully it was under warranty)
The biggest images are A0 *841 × 1189 millimeters or 33.11 × 46.81 inches
Here are a few samples.
