Congrats...sounds cool. I'd try it myself, but I pretty much stick with digital for color unless I'm just messing around.

The dev times are getting pretty long in the tooth, so this was my last roll of Provia in this batch. A great experiment--I will do it again. I think it's only worth it, in the end, if you're gonna do nothing but shoot slide film for a couple of weeks. Which is a perfectly reasonable thing to do!

Thanks so much for your tutorial video. I've wanted to try developing color film for a while. Other instructions I've found are sketchy, vague, and often contradict each other. Now I feel the confidence to give it a try.

Since one month, I have done both processes, C-41 and E-6 (tank). No problems at all, I'm very pleased with the results.

Thanks! Yes, it's my favourite too, glad I decided to try the push development.
Times are getting longer and longer and I think I'm done with the first solution kit (hand tank).
Times for the 15th roll:
FD 10.5' (added 25% for 1 stop push), CD 9' and Blix 9'
Hard times especially to keep the other developer and blix at the right temperature for more than 13 minutes, I'm using the bath tub now 🙂
But the experience, seeing them coming of the reel, as you said, it's priceless!🙂

Btw, It seems that Fuji films compared to Kodak need more time for the first developer (~30" @ 4th roll)

These days I've been more concerned to low-fi, and I'm developing colour and B&W film with caffenol ...19 minutes developing and then normal fixing

These are with the M7 and Serenar 50/1.8, by the way, exposed as rated. I can't believe I was gonna sell the Serenar, am I nuts?!?

You'd have to be nuts -- a lens that good and that cheap isn't worth selling for what you could get for it.

i feel ya. i'm specifically an astia man. i've always shot slide. i find it much easier to view, edit, and scan in a hybrid trad/digi workflow.
