I used this set yesterday in Destin Beach (Florida). I like the manual aperture with this old lens. F 11-16 with ISO 160 works well.

By mistake, I had the wrong settings at first, so images were overexposed.
I like the effect.

Shooting against the sun gave me images that appear similar to B&W images:

In comparison, when I used the (older) E-P2 with the (modern) Panasonic Summilux 25/1.4, no such B&W image came out as nicely. It looked more as an overexposed image. It seems that the E-PL1 has the better exposure system than the E-P2.

Thanks. I think that M 4/3 cameras are under-valued. They are small and light, and they have advanced exposure systems. They are also inexpensive in general.

Thanks to you raid I appreciate my E-PL5 much more. Having fun with my Nikons and my Canon M39 lens. Even been considering selling my Mamiya 6 for more lens.

Hello David,
12MP images look great when done with good lenses and with care, as you already know. Your E-PL5 is far more advanced than my basic E-PL1.
