ebay seller: ruscamera

is igor (ruscamera on ebay) a member of RFF? i just won and paid for my J11 by money order. anybody know him or transacted with him?

i tried contacting him thru emailS, even updating him with what's happening to the money order i sent, but no reply.

nothing against this seller but i just hope he responds saying that he's been getting my messages...or even just to say 'hi', just so i know he's still in correspondence with me.

I don't know if he is a member nor have I done business with him.

It may take a week or more for payment to arrive and most sellers don't contact even when payment does arrive. I've done business with a number of ebay sellers and never recieved an email.

ruscamera is fine, I've bought stuff from him before and he isn't great on the communication bit. your stuff will probably take a while to arrive... give it one to two months... probably wrapped up in brown paper and string.

I've got to say that the Kiev II I bought from ruscamera is the best-value item I've ever bought from the former USSR; condition was perhaps even better than it looked in the photos, and the camera seems to work at all speeds and feels as if it's been serviced.

I do recall there was not a lot of email action on this purchase, beyond the invoice and the paypal receipt, the next I heard was when the camera popped up on the doorstep.
