Edixa flex waist level finder issue

The waist level finder of my Edixa flex has a problem. The magnifying glass does not stay up once the lock lever is unlocked. I suspect a spring is missing. If anyone had an Edixa with the same viewfinder and could verify how the mechanism that allows the lens to remain raised works, I would be grateful.

OK, not the greatest of pics, but it should be clear enough. As you thought here's a spring missing from yours, with a short leg that tucks into a slot in the underside of the magnifier, a coil that fits round the pin, and a long leg that pushes against the hood.

I can't help with where to get another, unfortunately - good luck!

Hopefully in Europe you'll have more chance of finding Edixa spares - you MIGHT be able to make something that will do the job (rather than looking right - I mean, it is pretty well hidden from sight! - with very fine spring wire?
