I bought a couple rolls of this from freestylephoto.biz, and I wonder where I should get it processed? The page said it needs a fixer with hardener, does a place like A&I know what to with it? I think I'll send it to them next week along with some Astia to cross process, unless someone has another place that just develops it for a reasonable price, and knows what to do with 'weird' film like this might be.

Also, anyone have sample photos from this film?

It's a great film with gorgeous tonality to it (and nearly invisible grain).

A link to my Efke25 shots on Flickr.

This is probably my favourite shot:

Efke 25's emulsion is very soft, when wet, which is why Freestyle recommends the hardener fixer. I use ordinary Ilford Rapid Fix which doesn't contain a hardener, with excellent results (just have to be careful when removing the film from the reel after development).

Many pictures in my gallery are with Efke 25.

Also, here's the URL to the Efke group in Flckr:

I do it myself, only way to achieve the results I want
Rodinal 1+100 for 10 minutes agitating once/minute
The emulsion is soft, so handle with care to avoid scracthes

IMHO the nicer thing about this film is not only the grain free images, but also the response to the light it has, with a small response to red (almost orthocrhromatic)
Portraits can be very impressive (black lips)

MadMan, a different question: When did you buy this.
I put an order at freestylephoto.biz on 21st of Nov. and since then, it is "on hold" and they don't reply to my e-mails...i whonder what's happening there...
I also bought efke25 by the way, although in 120-format...I'm very curious about it.

A&I are good, but they have standard XTOL processes. You might want to slip them an email question about the Efke 25 before committing.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll take a look at that dr5 place.
Pherdinand, I bought it about the 10th-15th I think, 2 rolls.
Thanks for the examples too. I'm looking forward to getting the roll I shot back, I shot some landscapes and old buildings in Massachusetts on it during thanksgiving.
