I have an Electro 35 GL that I bought in Tokyo a year ago, and after cleaning it up a bit and finding a battery adapter, I have a nice working RF. There are 3 things that are kind of bugging me about it though.
1. I don't think that the battery test light has worked since I've had it. It doesn't seem to be a problem except when my batteries die, I only know by the shutter firing only at 1/500, which sometimes takes a while to figure out. Any ideas on what could be wrong or how to fix it?
2. Sometimes my rangefinder gets sticky and doesn't work. What should I use to clean up the mechanism?
3. Flash synch. The GL, which was only sold in Japan, has a hot shoe that was made to use Yashica's auto flash, so it doesn't have a flash synch switch. It has a PC connector, but I don't know how to use a flash with this camera.

I guess no one has a GL. It was a Japan only model, so I guess I should expect it.
