at f/5.6 I see no difference, should I? open wide elmar is clearly weak in sharpness but that not all about it right? how about a real life images taken with both lenes? and we can talk about overall charecter? 😀

I still see a difference in that the Lux looks sharper (just as with the shots taken at f2.8). Look at the leafless trees just to the right of the parking lot light. The branches are more delineated with the Lux and are fuzzier with the Elmar.
