Enlarger + flatbed scanner

Anyone tried? I've tried with V700 and Leica Prado but got just white image in VS and Epson Scan - used total darkness.
 
You need a surface to focus on and the scanner needs a surface to scan.

Try adding a sheet of translucent acetate or mylar. Check your local art store for architect's supplies.
 
I've had the same idea but can't get around the V500's different locking mechanisms (it won't scan with the top open and bottom light source turned off). Would need a cheaper scanner to hack - and as mentioned above a sheet of mylar etc to focus on.

Decent idea in theory, but much more complex to pull off in reality.
 
If you use mylar, you will be scanning the texture of the mylar, which is not pretty. I also think your enlarger light won't be bright enough to get a good scan.
 
That's true. I would like to overcome Epson low resolution otherwise very good scanner. I have drum scanner Scanmate 11000 but it's time consuming machine.
