i have never had much luck in thrift stores...just a bunch of overpriced junk is what i usually find!
glad for you though randy!

so what lenses do you have for your little m body now?

Joe
I started with 20/2.8, 35-135, 17-40/f4, and 70-200/f4 using the Eos-m adapter.
I picked up the kit 22/f2 off Craigslist on New years day and now the 50/1.8.
I did buy the Rayqual Fd to m adapter from Camera Quest to try with 55/1.2 , its in the bag but still unused.I also want to try my 500/8 reflex for full moon shots and my 24/2.8.
Now I have to find time to shoot:bang:

lots of toys to play with, nice!
i am drawn to the 11-22 zoom, they are available locally (if the website is right) but then i am not really into zooms so not too sure what that is all about. would be kinda cool to find a nice long tele to play with.

I was looking at the 10-22 ef-s.
My problem is I hardly ever sell anything.
I give some things to family if they take an interest in photography, but my closet and nightstand is full up with gear.😱

Ahhh something wecan ALL relate to on this side of the World
Good One, brought a Smile and a Hope of things to Come

thanks helen...yes, even though it's been a not too bad winter here i have had enuf of it and look forwars to long walks and warm temps.

i am liking the the baby eos btw...still need to spend more time with it though to truly feel comfortable with it.

i hope that bird has his papers in order...
barely shot this weekend...went out twice for a walk and got pissed off at the cold and went home.
discovered though that i prefer the m without grip or thumb thing...except for hitting the damned arrow button on the back of the body when putting the camera in the bag...killed a battery overnight!

It must have been a fluke.
Before I left on vacation last year I bought an extra battery just in case not having much time using the M before leaving.I only had one occasion where the battery drained before the day was finished.I did have the setting at 30 sec lcd and 1 min main off, but that was annoying.

my finger seems to naturally fall on that arrow...
i bought one good battery and 2 cheaper ones for the m...so i have 3 new batteries...the oem canon battery is dead and the second no name battery seems ok but i wanted a known quantity so went with the 3 new ones.
my biggest frustration has been the cold as my bones are not handling it well this winter.
