I'm looking for a good, reasonably priced (not cheap/junk) scanner to scan 35MM negatives, mostly B&W.
My budget is a little limited. I'm hoping to keep it under $200.
There are two I've seen on e'bay that caught my interest.
The Epson V300 and Canoscan FS2710.
How do these scanners compare or is there another I should consider?

Skip the V300 and get a real film scanner. You might want to look for a Minolta IV. 3200 dpi and typically sell for about $200 on fleabay.
One just sold for $155
Here is another
