"When you take a M9 image file and transfer it to black and white there is always a slight color cast."
Amusing.

Well, that may be. But if there is, it's still not enough to make me buy ANOTHER very pricey M9--which only shoots in black and white.
The Monochrom is not a B+W M9. In terms of image quality, it supersedes the M9, color excluded of course.
Huh, never realized that it IS considered a seperate entity from the M9.

Maybe. But I doubt the image quality is so sufficiently superior as to make it worthwhile to shell out another $7,000. And the M9 allows me the option of shooting in color AND B&W (with a little processing, of course....)
If you can understand what Erwin Puts is saying you deserve a medal....or maybe I'm just a bit dumb
Am I right in thinking that English is not Mr. Puts's first language?I fully agree... with the fact that Erwin Puts' writings are incomprehensible of course 😀
