I have happy memories of just wandering about Paris that first meet with the spring sunshine, looking about an empty penthouse in Berlin which we somehow managed to get in to, a fellow RFF'er getting my gear to safety in Barcelona during an alercation with a drunken dude, walking about Florence on the Saturday night with a 5 litre bottle of red wine...

Come along, it'll be chilled out, we'll snap, eat, drink, walk the whole weekend and sleep on the journey home.
 
Hey Asim, it is a meet in Europe 🙂 It will be a nice time in Istanbul.

Said, why the week before? Is something happening in Istanbul that weekend?
 
Nothing special in istanbul. But at this time there are eastern holidays in germany and we are planing already a trip to istanbul at this time.
 
Hey everyone, shall we say the 14th-15th April? We can then start booking flights cheaply before the prices start to go up.
 
I'll be aiming to make it three in a row. Besides, Richard/Semrich makes it look even more appealing than all those hopelessly romantic thoughts and impressions I've had of Istanbul down the years.
 
April 14/15 it is. I'll probably fly in a day or so early and I know some fly in a few days before and stay a day or so after.
