I've got two rolls of Kodak High-Speed Infra-Red film which expired in 2007, because I never got around to using them and every time I was going to the weather was crap. Then I forgot about them for a while as they were in the back of the fridge.

They have been in a fridge all this time, but not a freezer.
Should I run them through a camera and see what develops (sorry) or just bin them.

Also, if it is worth using them, anyone has any tips for developing using Ilford Ilfotec HC developer (it's what I've got, and I don't really want to buy some other developer until I've used all the Ilford!)

I've heard that expired HIE film is susceptible to fogging, but that's only what I've heard. I know that I've used various b/w and color film that's expired, and it never caused a problem.

Go out and shoot with it. Why throw it out? You won't know if you don't try. There's no harm in trying.
