I especially love the way light can play on windows and create somewhat ghostly effects with faces. The first one here is a little unusual in that there are if you look closely 3 faces - the main subject's face is only visible because it is in shadow. And if you look closely that shadow reveals the silhouette of another woman. It was pure serendipity to capture this. The second one is almost wholly made up of shadows and dim faces with only one showing more or less clearly.

Another Track, Another Take. The Artist at Work.

A version of this image was used for the artist's CD liner ("Dominos" by the Chuck Anderson Trio) Against my recommendation, he preferred the color version, which I argued distracted from his effort and feeling.

Ah well, Les gouts and et les couleurs on ne discute pas.
