faint viewfinder

Hi.
I have a yashica lynx with an almost gone viewfinder .. that litle yellow square.
I dont know how it was when new, but i beleive it was much brighter than know.
Is there anything i can do to restor-it ?

GMan: Are the parts from the Yasgica G series finders interchangeable with the Lynx finder?

My first Lynx 14 was dim, the latest 14e is much brighter.

The pen / sharpie solution didn't made any improvment ... i'll try the tape solution tomorrow after i buy some.
Where can i get a beam splitter glass? How much will it cost?

And then i must cut it in size?
What is the size of the one in the Lynx ?

ok. if the tape fails i'll consider that. but i think i a bit expensive to order from US (shipping, customs, etc). I'm going to try to find that here. I have some friends that took optical physics in the university maybe they can help me with this.

G'Man: Will the beamsplitter from a parts G series work without having to be cut? There are plenty of G's that have not paid you a visit, and might be cheap to fix a Lynx.
