Just a thought...Anyone up for a regional RFF Meet in October similar to the huge turnout we had in April here in Atlanta?

Fall colors, great weather, Tennessee, North Carolina, other places?

Dave remember the annual Euro-Auto meet will be at the BMW factory, near Greer SC, again this fall. This has been a great photo opportunity in past years. Plenty of lodging for those that must travel a good distance.

Oooh...dates? That would be really nice to attend!:)

I'm taking a week off in Oct. Usually around the 4th because of birthday. If you decide on the dates & place I can always modify it.

An acquaintance who owned a auto repair shop I worked on my route told me about this a few years ago. He had a lovely Austin Healey. I've always wanted to go but never could find the dates.

It does sound pretty neat. I could even entertain the idea of setting up my touring bicycle by then and ride it down there.

Last I checked Paul, Toyotas ain't "euro" cars.;)

Oh yeah...and somehow mwooten's post jogged my memory that Charlotte has an Oktoberfest sometime in September or October- just another idea, although I'm down for the car thing too.

I think Paul meant the Land Rovers...not the Land Cruisers which are Toyotas.

Oktoberfest in Helen, Ga. is always a favorite for September and October! We never miss it, or the beer!:)

Barry--oops!
You are SO right--Toyotas aren't quite in the EU yet.
I was thinking Big Dave might stumble upon a Land Cruiser that needed his attention.
Well--since we have a Toyota and a Subaru--I'll have to rent a Euro car to attend, I guess.
How about a Mercedes S65 or SLS? Or Maybach?? :) :)

That will look great pulling up to the BMW plant!:D As for me I guess I will drive a Pontiac Bonneville.

I rode Barry's (BLW) bike when we were in Atlanta & the seat isn't big enough for the both of us!:D

Thanks Dave.

I haven't spent much time in this forum -usually over at the L-Camera forum.

I got pulled back over here by a PM from a fellow looking for service advice.

It was refreshing to see a bit more regional (local) activity here compared to the other forum, so I may well try to spend some more time here.

Hopefully this particular meet will come to fruition and I have the time to come.

Regards,
