Georgia Fall RFF Meet?

I'm home gentlemen! I got into town last night a little after 7 and stopped by my friend's house- the bike shop owner- to celebrate with a beer. Well one beer turned into two and then the remains of two jars of moonshine got polished off- apple and peach brandy.

I made such good time yesterday that I hopefully turned an 80 mile return ride into a 100 mile ride! And every piece of gear made it home with me!

My legs are thoroughly worked over. I still hope I can get out for an hour or so to spin my legs and ride something 50 pounds lighter. Thanks so much for the well wishes and positive thoughts and prayers. With all that and a good tailwind, I finished up a crazy bike tour with an epic final ride.

Barry I'm glad you made the ride home. I felt pretty bad I didn't come, but if I would have, I probably would of tried to coax you into throwing the bike into the back of the car & the trip wouldn't have been as meaningful to you. Oh well, Spring will be here in 6 months unless someone host a winter meet in which I'll be in hibernation.😀

Thanks Greg....if it's a positive at all, you missed out on seeing and shooting an RD-1; so you're lacking the GAS pains that I now know.

You can make amends with a Christmas get-together in a few weeks! I spoke with Andrew yesterday and he is looking forward to a lunch meeting as am I.😀

Yes! I am--please keep me posted.
I might suggest that we either do a breakfast at the diner, and then go shooting--or--photos first and then have lunch.
Seems like we lose interest in shooting after that big lunch...🙂

This was about the best I could do with this one Dave. It looks like the aperture should have been stopped down or the shutter slowed down some. D'oh.

I may be doing a lot more cross processing in the near future- if only out of slight necessity. Taking my film to the local CVS and having the roll developed and scanned is only about 6 bucks and it's done within an hour or two. Mailing off a roll to be E6d runs closer to 10 bucks for developing and somewhere near another 10 bucks for scanning, nevermind the time it takes also. And I'm sitting on a hefty stockpile of slide film right now.

I was certainly more pleased with this round of cross processing. The last time I did it several years ago I recall being heavily underwhelmed.
