Family Trip to Europe (2014)

I am slowly adding images here, and I don't see feedback, but at smugmug, my account shows several hundred or several thousand views per day, so maybe people are actually looking at these Europe trip images.

I just posted some of my own and I don't see feedback either :D

I like the ones at the top of this page, they look like spontaneous impressions, and the casual family portraits. For pictures thematically close I'd rather see them edited in a set, maybe with more consistent sizes rather than loose like that, but I imagine you're not quite done sorting/editing all that stuff out

I have no theme for the images other than being from one trip to Europe. It is a documentation of a family trip with two kids.

I really like the composition, and the composition with color, in this shot, Raid. Keep the posts coming - it's an enjoyable thread. David

Well, to be honest, what I see, are snapshots of a family trip, a dear remembrance of a happy time and that's what it's supposed to be, I think.
But nothing to get exited about photograffically (is that a word?) for people who were not there. So maybe that is the reason for lack of feedback

I am very much aware of this fact, Merlin. These are family snapshots, and no artistic claims have ever been made.
I am surprised at how many "views" this set of images has been getting. Just yesterday there were 6787 views at my smugmug website.

Yes, but the thread already has over 1,600 views, which I think is a lot for a relatively new thread in the small community that is RFF. I just tuned in, and I like the recent Copenhagen shots the best. Fond memories of my own trip there and my pleasant surprise at what a colourful city it is. A few great family shots that I'm sure you and yours will treasure too.

Well done and keep posting,
Rob

Thank you, Rob. I posted such a non-artistic thread because of people who asked me to from past trips.
