From my Hexar RF and M-Rokkor Combo. Superia 400.
Some of the following photos were taken in "snap-shot" mode, pre-set exposure, focus set to 3m and the camera secured with a wrist-strap in my right. I was either holding an umbrella or had some shopping bags in my left hand so no chance for focussing, just aim, shot and rewind.
Gabor - I'm curious about your "snapshot" settings. When you preset your exposure for night shots, what values are you setting? And are you using hyperfocal distance for focus?

maddoc, I think I like your photo. It seems incredibly full of details and has a perfect BW rendition and contrast, in my opinion.
