Another vote for the Domke swivel straps.
Are you concerned about the clips damaging the finish of the camera?

I got this versatile strap that's got a lifetime guarantee! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/allegorypens/content-camera-strap-three-modes-one-amazing-promi
I wasn't disappointed when it arrived – it lived up to expectations, and it's my perfect strap (I've tried loads)!
There is a lot of metal on that strap

Tamarkin Camera is selling really lovely Horwin leather straps, made in Chi-town.

I really like the strap Sony made, I think originally for Handycams. They are woven blue material with leather joints--very light but plenty sturdy and no sticky material which isn't for me.
I wish it was black (and didn't say Sony) but I've ended up picking up a few of these, they're great.

Years ago I bought a bright red polyester one-piece woven strap that is 40mm wide around the neck area, tapering down to a standard camera strap width to go through buckles.
Never found another since. Currently it’s on my Leica 10x42 binoculars. It is so flexible and comfortable.
Would love to have another.

I second deadcameras - I have the AllFit version for my Leica M5 and it is soft and the shoulder pad is very shoulder friendly.

I've just picked one of these up for my M2. Lovely and soft, beautifully made and doesn't get in the way when you put the camera in a bag. Highly recommended.
(the Rolleiflex version is also excellent).

I've come to prefer wrist straps
I've come to prefer wrist straps
I find them best for walking around and shooting. The Fuji has a black leather Leica wrist strap that was about $70 at Adorama, the Ricoh has a black leather Cecilia Gallery strap that was about $36 at B&H.

I think I might have a new favorite: the F1 from https://simplr.us/.
I just received mine yesterday. It's super compact and lightweight, and easily adjusts from over the shoulder sling carry to neck strap and even converts into a wrist strap. The one inch width seems a good match for my Nikon FE (I use primes only so no big heavy zooms to make it dig into my neck/shoulder.) The strap is simple (as the name would suggest) and appears very high quality. Of course, time will tell.

That looks pretty trick.
