feeling better and better but i won't get out until tomorrow. knowing how slowly hospital administration wheels can grind, i do not think we will be out in time for atlanta. boys, i really was hoping to get there saturday. shoot some shots for me ...
 
No problem, Paul... plan on shooting the M3, maybe the Nikkormat and possibly the DSLR for grins. We always have more than one camera with us!

We'll post some pics for you as I know how antsy one gets from spending time in the hospital and downtime, too. (Did many months of that kind of duty last year).

BTW, what is your favorite image of Atlanta?:)

Sam, great seeing you with us today and hope we can do it again soon! Thanks all for your great input on the itinerary for April 16. I will post later for all to see.

Paul B, David, John, thanks for sharing all the discussions. I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the time with you guys! BTW, the food was excellent too.:p
 
Today was very nice...I needed to get away from the empire for a few minutes :)

I think being around others who share this same interest/obsession makes me feel slightly less strange!

Yes, it's not every camera group with that many folks interested in swapping our dead gas engines for new turbo diesels. A great time was had for sure. We need to do it again in March to put the final touches on the April 16th meet where we get to meet Paul and Raid and the other great folks who'll be there. Can't Wait! John W
 
Yep--it WAS a great time!
Maybe for the March meeting we could move down south a little so the "southern" group won't have to drive so far--or over closer to Monroe so Barry can attend.
In any event--a great time!!
Dave D--your Land Cruiser looks like it just came from a movie set in Africa!
It appears you actually use it for what it was designed...:)
Thanks to all for the meeting--Sam--was good to actually see an M9 in person..
