I think I will bring out the BEOON to the Meet-Up. I am truely surprised on how small and compact this copy stand is. Muy retro also. The bonus is that it also came with a vintage 35/135mm Leitz LTM to M-mount adapter.
Anyways it seems that I can make digital copies of my negatives to start to edit through over nine years worth of film shooting and begin printing work prints. This is "Vintage Calzone." LOL.
All I need now is a Visoflex III. The 65/3.5 is a macro lens, and on top of that I also own the 90 Macro Elmar. The BEOON is set up with dual M-mounts and I have a full set of extension tubes. Anyways I'm in denial: I am not scanning I say. LOL. Technically I'm copying a negative using digital capture using a single exposure, so technically I'm just making a transposing a picture into the digital medium. Ha-Ha.
Anyways the black SL2-MOT with a chrome Visoflex lens is a crazy beast that is really ghetto. The VF'er really pops, the lens is known to be sharp, the contrast is low, and there are only 4 elements (Tessar???). Anyways this rig has mucho hill-billy from Brooklyn style.
I found out that I need a Leica 14167 M to R adapter to have my metering on the SL2-MOT to be accurate. Strangely it seems that this accuracy does not extend from SL and SL2 bodies to "R" cameras. Also took note that the metering on my SL2 is 4 times more sensitive than on a SL.
As far as black F2 DE-1 GAS goes I think the black SL2-MOT killed the GAS. My SL2-MOT is a rare camera with only about 1K ever made. In 1975 it cost literally twice the cost of a new Nikon F2, and is a crazy overbuilt camera that has mucho retro vibe and style. Know that Leica only made the SL2 for a little longer than 2 years and they lost money on each one they sold.
