I'm sure you'll get a kick out of the Zerostat, just don't take it through customs. Also remember not to use windex on acrylic, because it doesn't like ammonia.

Also these challenges are creating some crazy ideas for street shooting.
I discovered that I can easily use the largest dedicated flash that I bought for my Pentax 67II as a slave with my new Nikon SB-910 (also the most powerful dedicated flash). So I already have key and fill lighting capability for shooting at night. I kinda remembered that I have this machinist's magnetic block that is amazingly strong that features a switch that firmly locks the block solid. Anyways this is part of the spoils of downsizing a major aerospace company.
My idea is to use the magnetic block so I could use any street sign as a pedestal to mount my fill flash, so I effectively can create a kill zone with a key light/flash as my master. Basically my idea is to set up a street as my studio first for shooting Maggie, but I see potential for my own work also.
Check out Philip-Lorca diCorcia's work Cal... he's done stuff like this.
Cal,
When you get into the celebrity zone things get weird. Fans live in a parallel universe.
I follow one A-list celeb on Instagram, because we went to college together. He mostly posts random stuff. He happens to be married to a much bigger star. On each post he gets like 50 comments saying "please post pictures with your lovely wife". She isn't on Instagram, so he is the next best thing, but they aren't actually interested in him.
John,
Thanks for the reference. That SB-910 is some of the fest money I spent. Basically the D3X becomes a fully intergrated camera like a point and shoot. The TTL is kinda flawless.
Not sure I like images converted to B&W though because the Monochrom is the best.
The two prints I made have been gloss overcoated, and they look way different than my Monochrom. Not sure if this is CCD vs CMOS or just because of being converted from a color sensor. Could also be that I'm spoiled and have gotten use to the look from Leica glass, but maybe not because I love retro glass on the Monochrom almost equally well.
Anyways like in fashion my photography is going all over the place. Something I feel is evolving...
Cal
Cal,
Was looking for a mount like that and discovered just the right search term at B&H;

I sent in Monochrom and lenses to Leica NJ in December. They don't have the sensor replacement in stock until at least April. I ma Leicaless at the moment-🙁
Cal, I recently got the legs that go with my BOOWU set, which is the precursor to the BEOON. I thought all along that you needed a visoflex for your monochrome. A visoflex III, or a visoflex II with turret finder should both work fine. Once you have one of those, I expect you to complete the set with a 400mm novoflex pistol grip lens for your next catwalk gig.
I hope to come and say hi. 🙂
