I'm repairing a Fed 4 and need to get the top off but the film rewinder which comes through a slot in the side of the top is all that is preventing me from actually taking it off. All screws etc removed.
I've also taken off the 'film holder' on the left which is attached to the film rewinder, ie the little piece which catches the roll.
However I can't figure out how to get the top off with the rewinder still in place or get the rewinder out.
Any of you folks know ?

figured it out. well a little bit of force without damage
