Hi all,
this morning I've spent few hours in Sarzana (SP) shooting a Fomapan 100 (first time for me) with a Fed 5 and an Industar 61 L/D...
Since the camera is meterless (just because the meter is "gone") I've shot minding at the "sunny 16" rule...and that was not simple because the sun was very bright and there were shadows everywhere (...or better, dark areas and bright areas)...
The Fomapan has been developed in Microphen Stock for 5 minutes @ 23°C
BTW...here are the pictures...

No complaints on either.
I especially liked #3 and #6.
But #7 is a great display of detail near and far.

Great results, I always liked the Fed 5 and its I- 61 lens.

Very nice ! I've just finished a bulk roll of Arista EDU Ultra (which is the same film), I'm really impressed with it, especially developed in D76. At first I bought it because of the price, and thought it to be an economy film (poor quality), but that hasn't been the case at all.
Again, all of your shots are great, especially the gate one. Would make for a very nice print I'm sure.
Cheers
Steven

Really great work on the exposures Lorenzo!
This film handles the high contrast scenes very well.

Thank you all...
Here in Italy we can buy 10 rolls of Fomapan 100 or 400 for 22 € and it's cheap (at least for us)
I was afraid of the blown highlights (some pictures were shot at 1/125 f/8) but the film has done a very good job...

This could be of any help? (I think they will ship in your country but ask how much it will cost you...)

Your kit, that film, and your deveopment like you very well. Looks like Fomapan can handle a two-stop overexposure just fine.
I like my I-61 very well, too. What it does with BW400CN is dreamy. Pick up a good I-50 and try it; I love what it does with people ...

Nice...a I-50 will cost few bucks... what kind of I-50? I see the chromed and the black (50-2)...
Looks that they both fit my Fed (the M39 version of course)...am I wrong?

As far as I know, the Industar 50-2 is an SLR lens with M42 thread.
I do not know if there is a M39 version - if so, then most probably for the old Zenit SLRs which have a different register than the rangefinder cameras.
Cheers,
Uwe

Great shots. This is a real good combo. The first time I used FomaPan, I used Rodinal - big mistake, grains the size of golf balls. Works well in ID-11 though. And in Micophen as you have proved.
