Yeah, that is funny. Attractive woman, too. Good to see some fun, quirky shots of a woman with a Leica.

Anyone else think she bears an uncanny resemblance to a young Kathleen Turner circa "Romancing the Stone"?

"Kurt"? .

Tasteful reference to his lens. That could have gone a very different direction.

Hmmm...so what should I call my M9? Usually I refer to it as "The Beast."

Well, since I'm a guy, I really wouldn't want to call it "Kurt." The Beast it is (but a very friendly one).

Hopefully not Fritz, which is what I named my old Mercedes, for reasons you might guess.

Are you referring to the final image shown in the blog?![]()
Ah, no... but that too could've gone too far!

My Leica M3 is called "ziggy". Sigmund.
He is male. My companion. 1967 onwards..
The M2 is female. "zaggarina" Zig and Zag..

I was hoping to see pictures with the camera =/ you know, pictures made with a female perspective of the world in front of the lens.

Yes. For those who remember her well.

Amusing.
I call my Leica M9 "The M9" .. Not stunningly original, I guess. I have too many cameras to spend time naming them.
(My car is either "The SLK" or "Die Gelbe Gefahr" depending on my mood.)

Well, this is much more entertaining than some "stupid" MTF charts, discussion about sensor signal to noise ratio, or whatever other technical feature that won't really help you take better pictures...
