Just want to know if everything works, this is a Contax IIa in black dial and the Sonnar 50/1.5 without the red T.

I'm using an Voigtlander VCII meter and it seems accurate.

The film scanned by Nikon 9000ED.

Looks great! I'm waiting on a Contax IIa + Sonnar 50/1.5 to arrive in the mail any day now. Great camera and lens combination.

What kind of film did you use? Wild guess: Kodak 400CN?

Wow, nice images. I like the decrepit motorcycle. Lots of sharpness and textures. I find the out-of-focus areas on the Sonnar to be very pleasing ... sort of painterly, like broad brush strokes. Cool!

Keep shooting it man. That lens is Beautiful with Color film. I love to shoot it with Fuji pro 160S. I sure miss Van. This is a familiar spot to walk by.

Contax iia with Sonnar 50mm 1.5. Kodak Porta 160 shot at 100.
Tucson Arizona. This is a wonderful combination. I'll looking for a 35 mm Biogon Post War to add to this camera.

Beautiful lens. I briefly had one but it had been terribly mistreated. About 1/3rd of the front element looked like someone had taken sand paper to it. Even cursory tests holding it infront of a Nikon SLR were enough to see what sort of impact it had on images.

Seeing the first few above makes me even more sad the lens was in that condition. I really dig its rendition over all. Nice shots, particularly for a test roll. :)

Nice test shots.

Noticed the poster for Foals in the 1st shot. Shot their bassist w/the Contax's cousin (Nikon SP) a couple years ago.
