Any pictures from the R-D1 that you'd like to share? Did you test it with LTMs especially the Jupiter-3?

the photos between numbers 614 and 642. lost track which lenses were used. i guess jay and/or ditoy could help us on that.

oops. sorry. i missed out on jay's post. and yes, the prices are steep. anyway, off to hk on wednesday and i do hope i get luckier. i have a long list ... a cheap, mint and used rd1 (dream on!), perhaps an m3 or m2, or a hassy 501 c/m ... a hadley pro billingham ... surely, ilford hp films (long rolls, if available) and the evasive lucky bw. and if i end up empty-handed, i will just shoot pictures.
you guys had a grand time playing around with the lenses on the rd1. how come i see no pictures of jay? ditoy, nice meeting you, sort of. hopefully, when i get back we can truly meet and try on the cvs with my own newly acquired rd1

What I felt when I held the R-D1 for the first time was exactly the same as when I first had a Leica M3 in my hands! It's one digicam which really fits the bill of what I would want in a digicam. I ordered one from Japan, as Ditoy said, the moment I got back from that Quiapo eb. Got an email just now that it should be here in Manila by the second week of Dec. ...very excited!!!! The camera is an R-1Ds, new, and cost (with taxes and shipping) JPY 209365 (about US$1800+). Could be the last one in stock at that store....
Eddie- parang isang maleta ng pera ang dadalhin mo sa HK...may space ka pa ba for clothes and change of underwear? Hehehe.....You'll need that space after the money is gone to put all your new toys in.

CONGRATS, JAY! sounds like a great bargain ha. inggit ako!!!
clarification: it is a wish list of options. i will be happy if i come home with a lot of good films and a new camera bag. pero sa konting "luhod" kay mrs. baka makahirit ng rd1 sa hk or M2R man lang. hehehe
and i plan to go to macau even just for a day for some tourist shoots. and, perhaps, with the m6 and the cv15, cron 35/50 and elmarit 90 and the contax g2 and the biogon 28 and planar 45 lenses, no room for extra clothes. malamig naman kaya baka pwedeng baligtaran na lang sa damit at underwear.

yup talked to jay about it na. sabay tayo punta kay jay ha...jay punta kami dyan.
we also tried my Industar 61 that time (not L/D). which ones nga jay yung photos with this lens?
can't wait for the digital FED! i hope it's cheaper than the epson and M8

Are you going to buy a Luigi case for your R-D1s too? Or perhaps a new server/hard drive to store your new digital photos?
