I am hoping someone has a solution for my film getting slightly crimped in my M3. I have been bulk loading film for several years without any problems. Recently the edges of the film are getting randomly crimped. The sections are very small, perhaps 3 to 4 sprockets in length, it also appears randomly on the top and bottom edges at various spots along the roll. I have not seen any crimps in pair, opposite from each other. I ran a roll of film through the camera with the back open so I could watch the sprockets and did not notice anything unusual, of course the bottom plate was off and back were open when I did this.
It of course makes loading the film onto processing spools a nightmare.:bang:
