Keith: Superb! So good to see another photo where the natural light is such a major part of the photo. The portrait is defined by the soft unidirectional light coming in from the window. You certainly understand what the theme here is about.

Erik: thanks. Undoubtedly, I shot several frames of this family but I have always edited first and then scanned only my selection. So I choose this frame from a strip of negs on the light table, scanned it and moved on as I have no use for second place images. I have a good collection of images of normal Cuban people in their native environment that I made over a number of years, this in 2011. They are published in my book, "Vignettes Cubano" and on my website at Cuba introImpressive shot, Bob. Do you have more pictures of them? When did you make the picture?
