480 Xenar Portrait from the Internet by Nokton48, on Flickr

This would be the actual size of the image coming out of the camera. Eight by ten inches. This would be a contact print. This is inspiring work to me, when I do this type of portrait, I study the subject for a very long time, upside down and backwards on the 8x10 groundglass, and make many small incremental changes, before I expose a few 8x10 sheets. I find this highly satisfying, and I always have the subjects total cooperation. It's a total group effort.
This is not like clicking when they turn the right way.........

8x10 camera, natural daylight lighting, 480mm Schneider Xenar lens.
