Interesting lens and nice portraits, but... film portraiture? 😉 Anyway, the lens' sharpness is impressive for its vintage, with a really nice out of focus transition.
This would be the actual size of the image coming out of the camera. Eight by ten inches. This would be a contact print. This is inspiring work to me, when I do this type of portrait, I study the subject for a very long time, upside down and backwards on the 8x10 groundglass, and make many small incremental changes, before I expose a few 8x10 sheets. I find this highly satisfying, and I always have the subjects total cooperation. It's a total group effort.
This is not like clicking when they turn the right way.........
