I've noticed that from time to time when i am operating Contax in its original cover i'm accidently pushing and releasing button/blocade which allows rewinding the film (this one on the bottom). It a bit said cause in that case the rest of film is lost without playing in darkroom with rewinding and reseting. Situation happens in both types of covers i have with my cameras. Bottom is quite hard but it seems that it is easy to push this button with the cover on camera accidently.
Anyone had such problem before ? Any ideas ? It's quite silly but i wanted to ask instead of loosing frames
Covers - first one was with camera from 1938, second with camera from 1936. Are they both pre war ?

The case with the silver trim is after WW2, made for the Contax IIA- I am surprised that you can get the Contax II in there.
I have not had a problem with the rewind button that you describe. Perhaps you could put a small rubber washer of bit of hard foam under the button to prevent accidents.
