I use a canon canoscan 8400F for medium format and 35mm scanning. Im planning on bumping a dedicated film scanner like the one from plustek up the "I wish I had a..." list.

it was probably a nice unit 5 or more years ago.. but I think a Nikon Coolscan would give you better results for about the same price, and you'd have a warranty
