If you make it to Akihabara, there's a small used gear shop on the main street but down a ways towards Suehirocho. I never went there as a resident but stumbled upon it literally an hour before I was heading home from my last trip and grabbed a PnS I was after (for a good price). The guy that runs it is either Indian or Pakistani (forgot) but speaks English, and will allow some finagling on some items.

Is that Hikari Camera or Nisshin Camera?

thank you! just to confirm I got the 2 stores correctly, they are the ones by the Shinjukugyoen-Mae Station?

Horiuchi Color is near Shinjukugyoen-Mae Station, about a 10 minute walk from JR Shinjuku. The Kitamura Camera I have in mind is on the other side of JR Shinjuku Station literally a stone's throw from Map Camera. They used to have an E6 machine on-site for a 90 minute turnaround, but not any more unfortunately. Kitamura is a large chain of stores though, so most of them would probably offer a 2 day turnaround for E6 processing.

Neither! One more shop to check out. Lemonsha also has a branch in Akihabara now.

Yeah, I don't think it's either of those. It's a small joint... barely room to move, but he has a nice selection.
